Bear has gone home with the Cannon Family!
This is little Bear, Bear is a wonderful little guy and is current on all vaccines.  Bear is a rescue
that we took in from a lady that was moving and could not take him.  Bear's mother was a
Westie, and Dad was a mini Schnauzer.  Bear will make someone a wonderful pet and loves
kids and has a great personality.  Bear's adoption fee of $50.00 covers the vaccines, worming's
and food that we have provided for this little guy.  We have shaved Bear with a short hair cut
as he was past due for a hair cut and had tangles.  Bear has a coarse non-shedding coat and
can be given a Westie cut or a schnauzer cut once the hair grows back.
Please give us a call about Bear. Bear is 15 weeks old and crate trained. Bear loves to
go outside and play with a ball, this is his favorite thing to do.

Male v/s Female

From many years of having both male and female breeds,
I have found that I personally favor the males over the females
as far as temperament is concerned. They are much
more family oriented and protective toward their family.
The males are much sweeter and obey
better. A male is much more lovable and willing
to do anything to please you. They love your
approval, generally seek out your affection.
Most people do not want the males because they
think all males will mark their territory by
lifting the leg and peeing on everything in site.
I have learned from my past clients who have
adopted my pet puppies that if the males are
neutered at an early age say 4 to 6 months, they
do not mark there territory, having never gotten
male hormones due to this early neutering. Males
are generally much cheaper than a female due to
supply and demand. The price of a female is
higher, because they are in higher demand.
Females generally are much more stubborn. They
are very independent and want everything their
own way. The females
are always wanting to see what is on the other
side of the fence. A male is satisfied that he
has a yard and a family to love. Females are
higher strung and from time to time will fight
with other dogs. They often hold grudges for days
at a time when they have been corrected for doing
something they think is wrong. If your female is
not spayed then you also have a heat cycle every
6 to 8 months. This can also lead to unwanted
puppies to care for and find homes for in the
future.
A friend once said the males are born to serve
us, the females are born for you to service them.
Please consider a male as your next best friend

Dogs adopted in the Past!

We would like to thank Rodney Slack, employed by Delta airlines
in Monroe Louisiana for participating in our Rescue Program.
Rodney has helped us in giving this little Chihuahua a wonderful
home full of love.

Thanks,  Rhonda and the Staff of Little Paws Kennel

We would like to thank Krystal Foster & family for giving
our special little Dachshund, Hope, a wonderful home.
Thanks so much for all of your help. Hope was the only
survivor of a horrible C-Section and was sick and hand
fed by myself and my staff.  Hope was donated to this
nice family by our daughter Ally Beth.

Gone Home!  Maggie and Mattie

Maggie and Mattie are female lab mix puppies (6 months old)

I found Maggie and Mattie dumped on the side of the road. At 4 weeks of age, they were flea infested,
starving, eat up with mange, and worm infested. It was heart breaking to know someone could have
done this to two loving, helpless little puppies.  After a lot of money, love, and devotion, I have two happy, healthy, little girls that are parasite free and have had all of their vaccinations.  All Mattie and Maggie need are a loving home and family.  The girls are healthy, fat, and sassy now.
Mattie and Maggie will be large dogs (about 55 pounds full grown).  Mattie and Maggie will make
someone a wonderful family pet.  Maggie and Mattie love kids and are very playful!
Would love for them to go together, but I will separate them to good homes.  Please
spay and neuter your pets!

Great News, Maggie went home today!
Maggie was adopted by the Yates Family
from Bastrop Louisiana.  Maggie now has
Kids, love, a family, and a fenced in back
yard to run and play.  My sister Mattie below
            needs a home, please help!

Up date on Maggie!

Just thought you'd like to know that Maggie is doing great. She seems to love her new backyard and dog house. She gets to play everyday with her new boys, Christopher and Benjamin, Benjamin really likes her because she seems to know not to jump on him because he's so small and a little intimidated by dogs larger than he. Her diet is going well for her and she's in love with "Greenies". She doesn't bark but she sure followed the yard man around to make sure he didn't mess up. All in all I think she's happy and we all love her. Thanks for telling us about her and we are awaiting our other poodle puppy who we have named Kandee.

                           Mattie,  has been adopted!
Great News, the yates family have decided to take
Mattie home to live with her sister Maggie!

We'll come pick up Mattie and give her a home with Maggie when we come to pick up our puppy on Sept.6th, if that's alright with you. The yard is plenty big for both of them and they're already used to each other, may even miss each other.   -The Yates Family
